Among the announcements are a new iPhone and iPad Mini, a new version of Apple Music, a virtual reality headset and the new Apple Watch.
We asked Steve Jobs what he wanted the WWDC team to talk about.
“One of the things I want to do is to make sure that this is the right time for us,” he told us.
“This is the best time for innovation.”
For starters, we wanted to know about what the Apple team is planning for the coming year.
Here’s what he had to say.
“The next few years are going to be a time of great growth for Apple.
We’re going to have an incredibly competitive Apple Watch, and we’re going have a very robust software platform and ecosystem,” Jobs said.
“We have a massive software platform for our software and we have a huge ecosystem for software.
That’s where we are at the end of the year.”
He added, “I don’t know if you’ve seen the Apple Watch Series 3 yet, but there’s a huge difference in the software ecosystem that we’re building.”
So, what exactly does that mean?
“It’s going to mean that Apple will be able to provide products and apps that people can get on the Watch, whether they’re paying for them through a subscription or through a pay-per-install model, or they can get them from third parties,” Jobs explained.
“And, you know, they’ll also be able run on the new iPhone that’s out now.”
The new AppleWatch Series 3 is going to look pretty cool.
It’s also going to deliver a lot of new features and the hardware will look absolutely fantastic.
Here are a few of the new features that will be included in the next iPhone:In addition to the new Watch Series, Apple is also launching a new Macbook Air, a brand-new MacBook Pro, a refreshed MacBook Air, and a redesigned MacBook Pro.
All of these new products will be available for preorder on February 25th, 2018.
